"The Walking Dead Season Three" will premier this November in an announcement made by Telltale Games at its PAX panel. The new season is set only years after the second season and follows series protagonist Clementine as a teenager and new character Javier.

According to Game Spot, both Javier and Clementine are playable in the upcoming season, and despite their differing pasts, they both try to protect their loved ones. Telltale Games executive producer Kevin Boyle highlighted some information about the storyline during the panel.

Boyle said at the PAX West conference that after meeting for the first time years later, Javier will begin to disclose the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story connects with his. Both of them are still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse, he added.

As expected, "The Walking Dead: Season Three" will still go through a similar episodic formula that the studio and developer have become famous for. Gamers can pick the title digitally, or get a "Season Pass Disc" which will be available for purchase for PS4 and Xbox One.

Players will still need an internet connection to download the subsequent episodes when released as the disc will only come loaded with the first episode.

Since airing the first season of "The Walking Dead" back in 2012,Telltale Games has ended up becoming one of the most popular and respected developers in the industry. Before producing "The Walking Dead," the studio had released a number of titles like, "Back to the Future: The Game" and "Jurassic Park: The Game," but none of them received the same attention as "The Walking Dead" did.

Telltale Games also gained a little renown for its "Sam & Max games," but it did not take off until "The Walking Dead," Game Rant reported.

Since then, there seems to be no stoping the developer from taking on some of the most iconic characters and stories of today. "Batman: The Telltale Series," "Minecraft: Story Mode," and "Game of Thrones" have all received strong positive results and added the developer's influence.

"The Walking Dead: Season Three" is set to release to mobile, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and Mac platforms in November.
