The puzzle-solving television anime, "Nazotokine" will premiere on Oct. 5 10:20 p.m. on commercial TV station Tokyo MX, as well as in other stations. The following day, the anime will air on Tochigi TV at 12:50 a.m. The official Twitter account of "Nazotokine"  made the announcement on Sept. 2, Friday.

For those who enjoy solving puzzles may want to check out the upcoming Japanese anime "Nazotokine." The Nazoon Teikoku production is similar to the "Professor Layton" game series, as it tells stories that focuses on solving puzzles. The characters will be given puzzles to solve, Anime News Network reported.

In August, Emi Nitta was reported to join the cast of the puzzle-solving anime while the main female cast is Natsuko Hara who will lend her voice to character Tokine Amino. Hara is likewise known for lending her voice to characters in other anime shows like "Onigiri," "JK Meshi!" and "Crane Game Girls."

Other previously announced cast members of the upcoming Japanese anime include Mikoi Sasaki as Natsuko Yanagisawa, Eriko Matsui as Kyōka Mizukami, Sarara Yashima as Yoshie Yamasumi and Sora Tokui as Hacchin, Crunchyroll reported.

The puzzle-themed anime is created by Naoya Fukushi who likewise directed it at Tengu Kobou. He is known for directing the animated film, "Metal Fight Beyblade vs Taiyo Shakunetsu no Shinryakusha" in 2010.

Aside from directing, Fukushi works with 3D animations. Some of his works on this sphere were seen in shows like "Kekkaishi," "Mobile Suit Gundam UC (OAV)" and "Noein - to your other self."

Designing the "Nazotokine" characters is Hitomi Takano while Hiroyuki Moriyama, whose credits include "anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day" serves as the chief director of photography. Handling the "Nazotokine" sound effects is Hiroaki Yabunaka while Hikaru Nakatsugawa is producing. Collaborating on writing the scenario are nationally-ranked shogi player Yūki Hasegawa and comedian Ayumi Masui aka Peyon-Jun.

Takanori Morita of Dream Vision handles the puzzles to be solved by the characters. As for the game's theme song, Yuzu Fujisaki performs the opening song while aki performs the ending.
