The historical KBS drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" that features Park Bo Gum continue to reign over the Monday-Tuesday drama rating race. The latest rating report has shown a rise in viewership share for the said Korean drama while "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" sees a drop in ratings.

Park's drama retained its top spot in the rating war against SBS' "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" and MBC's "Monster." The KBS historical series' fifth episode that aired on Monday, Sept. 5, has posted a nationwide viewership share of 19.3 percent, according to a report posted on Soompi. The said "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" episode nearly broke the 20 percent rating's milestone.

It also marked a 2.9 percent increase from the drama's previous week's ratings, as indicated in the same report. On the other hand, the KBS drama has left its competition behind with "Monster" posting a 10.8 percent viewership share. Meanwhile, the SBS historical series that stars Lee Joon Gi retained its third spot with its fourth episode recording ratings of 5.7 percent. The said "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode has also posted a 1.3 percent decrease in ratings as compared to the previous week's percentage levels.

The KBS drama, also known as "Love in the Moonlight," has been gaining the attention of fans given its mix of romance, comedy and political intrigue set during the Joseon dynasty. Park portrays the Crown Prince Lee Yeong who forms a friendship with Hong Ra On (Kim Yoo Jung). Kim's character is actually a young girl pretending to be a man who became the Crown Prince's eunuch.

In the drama's press event held in August, Kim complimented her co-star's good looks, allkpop reported. She even admitted that Park's handsomeness would sometimes make her lose her focus while filming. She also commented on the Korean actor's behavior on the set of the KBS series.

Kim described Park as a "very nice" man who took care of her during filming activities. The actress also conveyed her happiness in acting alongside Park. She even indicated her appreciation in being a part of the KBS drama. "I think [the drama] will be a project I will be thankful about," she stated.

"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" airs every Monday and Tuesday on KBS.
