Eva Marie is in the midst of her 30-day suspension for violating the WWE Wellness Policy but she is apparently having a good time. According to the latest rumors, she was able to film scenes for "Total Divas" at the Bahamas despite being suspended.
The suspension of Eva Marie stemmed from testing positive for Adderall, the same substance that got Roman Reigns suspended. However, the camp of Ms. All Red Everything explained that she has a prescription for Adderall but failed to disclose it to the WWE.
"I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won't compromise on its integrity. I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return," Eva Marie told TMZ Sports in an interview.
The 31-year-old is not allowed to perform for the WWE while she is suspended but she was seen filming "Total Divas" with her husband, Maryse and The Miz at the Bahamas. According to Daily Wrestling News, Eva Marie was able to appear on the show because of her contract.
WWE superstars who star on "Total Divas" are under a deal with the E! Network and not the WWE. She is eligible to return from suspension on September 18, a day before her birthday, but she will miss SmackDown Live's first brand-exclusive pay-per-view, Backlash.
Before her suspension, Eva Marie was in-line for a huge push and she was even rumored to be a favorite in winning the SmackDown Women's Championship. The WWE also found a way to get her even more heat by getting out of matches due to several outrageous reasons.
The "Total Divas" star has been a heat magnet ever since she signed with the WWE but she has improved in the ring. Since she is coming from a suspension, her push will be delayed with Nikki Bella being groomed to win the SmackDown Women's title.
There were reports that Eva Marie will change her gimmick since she dyed her hair black. However, she changed it back to red for the filming of her scenes for "Total Divas." Check the video below for Eva Marie's wardrobe malfunction before her match against Becky Lynch.
