The game developer, Square Enix, is yet to provide a specific release date for "Final Fantasy 7 Remake." However, rumors are rife that the game will probably come out between 2017 and 2018, according to HNGN.

According to the publication, the game developer will release the first episode for "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" sometime in March next year. However, other sources suggest that the initial release date of the game will be in early 2018.

However, Reddit user MajorBlaze 1 unveiled that Amazon sent him an email concerning the game's pre-order. According to the message in the email, the estimated delivery date of his preorder will be on Dec. 29, 2017.

The preorder notice had previously stated that the remake will be released in December 2016, but the latest email confirmed that it would be postponed for one year. The new release appeared practical, but fans believe that the game may be pushed further to the end of 2018.

While Square Enix has kept the development and release date for the remake under wrap, some fans and critics are sharing their prediction on how the game will look like when it finally hits the shelves. It is reported that "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will bring back popular characters of the original PS1 like Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Tifa Lockhart, and Aerith Gainsborough. With these characters along with Rufus Shinra, Jenova, and Sephiroth, avid fans should expect the remake to be more exciting.

Meanwhile, Square Enix already unveiled the official game lineup that will be featured at the forthcoming Tokyo Game Show 2016. The game developer posted the list on its official website and it appears many fans are disappointed since "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is missing. The absence of the remake could suggest that gamers will have to wait a little bit longer for the release of the favorite game.
