The new Chevrolet Cavalier has been launched in the Chinese car market during 2016 Chengdu Auto show in south west China.

According to Forbes, the foreign car makers normally do not sell their older platforms to their Chinese joint ventures, and this is unusual for foreign automotive giants. The result of selling the old platform ends with building new cars on these platforms by the Chinese joint ventures. The advantage for the joint ventures is that they don't have to pay fees for platform and IP rights any longer and therefore making bigger earnings on each automobile sold.

The benefit of the foreign automobile manufacturers is that they get cash for an obsolete platform and they will make again if the car in question offers well, as they still own their 50 percent of the joint venture. Also, it is speculated that the car dealership will gain more sales because the Chevrolet Cavalier is cheap and convenient.

According to Auto World News, the new Chevrolet Cavalier made by Shanghai-GM is front wheel-drive sedan which will be hitting the streets of China for 11,950USD to 16,430USD.

The all new Cavalier is model whose position is well above Chevrolet Sail and exactly below the best looking Chevrolet Cruze. The car will be a tough competitor to popular compact sedans from its rival companies such as Citroen c-Elysee, Honda Greiz, and Volkswagen Jetta.

The car is 1.5-litre powered petrol engine with four cylinders having 113 hp and 141 Nm torque designed with five speed manual gears and six speed automatic gears. The car also includes Air-conditioning and an AM/FM stereo, XM Satellite Radio with CD and MP3 playback capability. The interior has a touch of sporty and a very horny handbrake. Touch screen is tiny and oddly angled. The fake side windows are bigger now.

The new Chevrolet Cavalier is ready to roll on the roads of China with its style and good looks.
