The MBC drama to replace the hit series "W" has recently released a set of new posters. The teasers for the upcoming drama "Shopping King Louie" features a look at its main cast members that include Nam Ji Hyun and Seo In Guk.
The romantic comedy series "Shopping King Louie" has geared up its promotional activities with the release of several pastel-themed posters. Images of the said teasers posted on Soompi has shown Nam and Seo in cute poses, along with cast members Im Se Mi and Yoon Sang Hyun. One of the posters featured the South Korean actress sitting inside a grocery shopping cart while Seo held onto the cart's handle.
In the said image, Nam looked cute with her hair tied up in two pigtails. The "To the Beautiful You" star also wore a pair of blue shorts and a printed blouse. On the other hand, Nam's co-star Seo looked handsome in dark jeans with suspenders and a simple long-sleeved white-collared shirt.
Another poster depicted the upcoming MBC drama's cast members as toy figures inside a beautifully crafted box. The box is similar to the packaging used to display dolls and action figures. On the other hand, a separate teaser has shown Seo surrounded by various gift boxes of different sizes as he sat in a colorful chair.
The whimsical quality of the posters continued with the drama's fourth teaser that included Seo, Nam, Im and Yoon sitting on an illustration of a castle-like structure. The said poster has a fairytale look to it given the pink and violet color scheme, as indicated in the same report. It even contained drawings of colorful hot air balloons, a pink-hued sky and soft glowing lights.
The upcoming series tells the story of Seo's Louie, a rich young man who lost his memories in an accident. He then meets Nam's character Bok Shil, a sweet yet tough young girl who resides in the countryside. The role marks the first time that the actress will play a lead character, according to a report posted on allkpop.
"Shopping King Louie" is set to replace Lee Jong Suk's hit drama "W." The first episode of the new MBC drama will premiere on Sept. 21.
