New Civilization 6 Kingdom Kongo

Civilization 6's Mvemba a Nzinga is said to release the Portuguese technology and Christinanity, iDigitalTimes.com has learned. The civilization will get bonus production, gold and food from the Great Works they make.

One of their useful units is the Ngao Mbeba which does not require iron and operates well in forests. They are also resistant to ranged attacks which makes them deadly to certain units from other kingdoms.

Players should note that the Kongo cannot really build Holy Sites unlike other kingdoms, but they can adopt other religions plus get apostles too. Civilization 6 wants Mvemba a Nzinga's units to be versatile in terms of combat and developing the kingdom itself.

Civilization 5 already introduced the nation but it was not a playable choice until Civilization 6 which will release on October, iTech Post reported. The kingdom's unique District can add extra housing even if they are settled in the jungle plus gold and food.

Civilization 6 Release Date

The Kongo civilization joins Scythia in the many new playable choices in Civilization 6. Firaxis Games and 2K have also released trailers for the other choices several weeks ago which also saw Cleopatra and the Egyptian Kingdom.

Mvemba a Nzinga is said to have played a crucial role in making Christianity the main religion of the Kongo kingdom although it is not entirely reflected in Civilization 6's mechanics. More features are expected to be unveiled when Civilization 6 is finally released on October 21 for the PC and players are already anticipating the rollout.
