Real Madrid is currently on a two-game winning run and is one of the three teams having the same record at the top of the Spanish top flight table at the moment, with the other two being arch-rival FC Barcelona and Las Palmas.

Los Blancos crushed Real Sociedad in their season-opener, 3-0, before escaping with a 2-1 win over Celta Vigo also at their home stadium on Aug. 27 to keep a perfect record in their first two games, as per The Guardian.

After the team was held by Os Célticos to a goalless draw in the first half, Spain international Alvaro Morata netted the opening goal right at the 60th minute off a rebound after teammate Marco Asensio's shot was blocked by Celta keeper Sergio Alvarez.

Celta found the equalizer at the 67th, though, with a long-range shot from midfielder Fabián Orellana off a pass from Swede forward John Guidetti.

However, head coach Zinedine Zidane's boys got the last laugh as substitute winger Lucas Vazquez set up midfielder Toni Kroos with his own long-range winner at the 81st to snatch another three points in the standings.

Meanwhile, Osasuna is still winless after two games this term with their last match ending in a 0-2 thrashing to Real Sociedad also on Aug. 27 at their own home field of Estadio El Sadar, via SkySports.

Head coach Enrique Martín's squad managed to open their season with a 1-1 draw against Malaga, but they could not keep up with Txuriurdin in their second fixture.

Real is the overwhelming favorite to win this match against Los Rojillos as Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to return from injury. The three-time Ballon d'Or winner will only play limited minutes, according to reports.
