After confirming the launching date of GoPro Karma, the action-camera manufacturer may have accidentally leaked images of the said device in several of its websites. Photos recently surfaced online where a black and white quadcopter was very visible in the screenshot captured by some followers. On the other hand, some GoPro followers strongly believe the Hero 5 will also be launched alongside Karma.
In a Twitter post by Konrad Iturbe, these images appeared on some Spanish, French and German websites. The photos have since been taken down. But one notable image which appeared in the photo suggests the package will include an unannounced stabilizer which will be coming with the Karma, The Verge reported.
This is not the first time images for the Karma drone had been leaked. A few months ago, many speculated the preview of the said drone was already hinted in a video released by GoPro itself where a flying camera, believed as the Karma drone, was included in the animation.
On the other hand, there had also been incidences in the past where GoPro leaked details of their devices. One of the most recent was the leaked pictures of Hero 5 which provided details on GoPro Plus, the upcoming storage service of the company.
It was during the Code Conference in May 2015 when GoPro first confirmed they were making a drone camera, a separate report by The Verge noted. GoPro CEO Nick Woodman said then it will be the ultimate GoPro accessory.
The company then confirmed they will be releasing Karma in the early parts of 2016, but this date was eventually moved to winter this year due to some constraints experienced by GoPro, the report added.
The same report also speculated the launching will not only involve GoPro's first drone, but also the company's action camera in about two years. Dubbed as the Hero 5, the upcoming device was hinted to be launching in the coming weeks. Although it was not stated when this may happen, a simultaneously launching has been strongly predicted.
