For Song Joong-Ki, 30, his "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Song Hye-Kyo, 34, is his best onscreen partner. In the hit KBS2 drama, the two starred as Captain Yoo Shi Jin and Dr. Kang Mo Yeon, respectively.
On Sept. 8, Thursday, Joong-Ki attended the 2016 Seoul Drama Awards at the KBS broadcasting station in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. Speaking before a group of local reporters, the "Innocent Man" actor talked about the "Full House" actress.
"She hasn't only sent a coffee truck, she also sent a snack truck too," Soompi quoted Joong-Ki as saying, referring to the food truck Hye-Kyo sent to the "Battleship Island" filming set. "She is the best partner."
On Aug. 21, Hye-Kyo sent a truck carrying snacks and beverages to the cast and crew of the upcoming historical film, "Battleship Island," who were filming in scorching heat in Gangwon Province. The truck was decked out with a banner that reads, "Cheers to Song Joong-Ki and the rest of the 'Battleship Island' crew."

In the upcoming film, Joong-Ki portrays Park Moo-Young, who belongs to the Korean Indepence Group. He sneaks into the Battleship Island to rescue a colleague.
The last to walk the red carpet at the Seoul Drama Awards, Joong-Ki also expressed his amazement at the immense level of success of "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds," which stars Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo-Jung. He then mentioned his interest in working with Park on a drama in the near future.
"It would be great to play brothers some time or even two guys that fight over the same girl," local newsoutlet Naver, as cited by One Hallyu, quoted Joong-Ki as saying. "Regardless, I would like to work with [Park Bo Gum] in a project."
Other stars present at the 2016 Seoul Drama Awards include Shin Min-Ah, Hong Jong-Hyun, Jasper Liu, Hyeri, Kang Min Hyuk, Shin Hyun-Joon, Lee Ji Yeon and Girls' Day's Minah. Photos from the annual event were circulated on Facebook.
