LG Electronics Inc. recently unveiled their new premium smartphone, LG V20, which comes with revolutionary features, which are opposite to those of iPhone 7.

According to Forbes, the LG V20 smartphone is intended to help revive the company's financial turmoil in the mobile business. It is also expected to offer consumers, especially power users, what they need by providing a removable battery and better-enhanced features.

Judging from the features alone, LG V20 stands out as a unique smartphone compared to other smartphones, including iPhone 7. This is because its features lean toward different modularity.

In the past, LG smartphones have not been received well by consumers. And this is primarily due to instances where some of the modularity resulted in more inbuilt problems than actual practical use.

However, some of them, like the quad HD display, always on display, dual cameras and fingerprint sensor on the back worked exceptionally well and were embraced by other smartphone makers. With the new V20, LG will be sticking to the V10′s two-screen and two-camera setup.

The company will also enhance this specification with two shooters at the back in place of the front. The phone will double down wired audio with an inbuilt hi-fidelity digital to analog converter. This completely contradicts Apple's push for wireless mobile phones, Phone Arena reported.

The above features are just a few of what users should expect from the V20. Apparently, LG appeared to be leaning towards creating a niche phone for a particular group of consumers.

The   32-bit DAC will have an ESS Sabre ES9218 chip which is built for listening to lossless audio. As well, the LG V20 will not only focus on audio but also video.

The fresh V20 is aiming to provide an exceptional video recording experience with the "Steady Record" feature, which will use the phone's gyroscope to reduce shaking. The company will also include three types of autofocus through the dual camera at the back. The manual mic recording controls may return as well.

While speculations suggest that the LG V20 will not sell much as compared to the iPhone 7, LG mobile division chief Cho Juno reported at a news conference that they anticipate a financial turning point with this device. However, for most consumers, Apple and Samsung remain their only companies that gauge other smartphone makers.
