Lamia added that the release of Revelations has a great deal of sentimental value. "It has been an adventure of eight years in the making it, and a very special journey that we've taken with our fans," he noted.

The new Black Ops 3 Zombies chapter, Revelations, is a big part of the finale DLC for Black Ops 3, Express reported.

Apothicons have managed to attack the perfect world the Origins characters reached, with the map itself such as many different aspects of previous maps, like Mob of the Dead and Origins.

While Black Ops 3 DLC 4 will be the last major launch of new content, the game's Black Market will still be updated and BO3 itself will also be supported with new gameplay updates as confirmed by the Treyarch team.

Other multiplayer maps included in DLC 4 are:

Citadel: Tight corners force close-quarters engagements, while the drawbridge and moat allows for unique player movement chances in this mid-sized map.

Micro: A miniaturised war zone that is on a well-stocked family picnic table. Navigating this bite-size battlefield results to a larger-than-life experience.

Outlaw: This is a rough-and-tough medium-sized map that brings classic engagements, strategic positions and flanking routes for long and medium ranged combat.

Rupture: The "Call of Duty: World at War classic Outskirts" re-imagines as a high-tech place, designed by a futuristic society in need to repair the Earth's atmosphere.
