The success of manga series "Tokyo Ghoul" has caused fans asking for an earlier airing of its season 3. It is one of the most purchased manga series currently at 10th place. Now, producers are being asked to air the upcoming season this year, but it seems the release date will not be happening until 2017.

It can be recalled that the last season was aired early-2015 and it has already been more than a year the reason why fans are continuously asking for its next release. Unfortunately, it has been reported that the production staff and crew are having a hard time dealing with its animation, making its material not ready for launching. Fans over at Reddit have continuously asked the official air date since Studio Perriot announced last April that the anime will be returning for a season 3 to focus on an original variation.

However, a separate report has stated that Madhouse will now be taking over production in replacement of the former, Anime Maru reported. The same report also noted some points given by series' writer. Bob told in a previous interview they are attempting to adapt the original source material and do not intend to vary too much from it.

Bob added they hope to remain faithful to the material but cannot promise not to censor some gory scenes. The production staff have shared to the publication what the first episode would be like. The report stressed that Touka will have a hard time choosing which university to enter to.

The character has expressed her dismay after Kaneki left her behind. She said the main reason why she wanted to go to Kamii is to be with Kaneki, but the latter opted to move on to another school.

Touka is problematic over which course to take, saying she is not even interested to literature. Ultimately, the character is only hopeful her recently built startup café will potentially help her be admitted.

Viewers are advised to wait for the official confirmation from Madhouse as details stated are still subject for changes. For other information surrounding "Tokyo Ghoul," watch the video below.
