MacBook Air and MacBook Pro have received a lot of fun comments since their launch. Microsoft has played by releasing commercials making fun of Apple's MacBook series, and their latest version.

According to Windows Central , the new Surface Pro 4 ads debuted on Thursday night at the Carolina Panthers-Denver Broncos NFL game. The debut represented yet another aspect of the partnership between the NFL and Microsoft when it comes to the tablet.

During the commercial, Brown said that having a powerful and great device like the Surface Pro 4 enables him to quickly go through all of the data he collects on each player that he trains.

The article added that Brown makes a tease at Macs when he said that using the screen as a writing pad and the ability to transform a notebook into a tablet is something Apple's notebooks ca not do.

The ad came out just a week after another one was released featuring a woman trying out specs on the Surface Pro 4 and failed to replicate them on a MacBook.

After the article, the commenters on the Surface Pro 4 commercial at Mac Rumors, which was one of the first sites to talk about the commercial, were not too happy.

"Not a fan of any device that runs Windows after suffering that OS in the last 20 years, so much of my life I cannot get back repairing, fixing and babysitting that device, I must have had Stockholm syndrome," says 2ilent8cho.

Michael Scrip also added saying that those are the features of a detachable 2-in-1. But the MacBook Air will always be a traditional laptop." He went ahead and noted that there are various Windows laptops that do not have a detachable pen, keyboard or touchscreen either.

According to a preview by Engadget, the Surface Pro 4 has become the go-to device for those who want a high-powered laptop that can also be used as a tablet.

However, a critic of Microsoft, Devindra Hardawar said that the Surface Pro 3 showed that Microsoft's crazy hybrid tablet experiment might actually have legs. According to him, the Surface Pro 4, on the other hand, acts as the company's Surface dream made real. He claimed that everything Microsoft promised at that surprise Surface unveiling in 2012 is now available with the Pro 4, he also noted that the battery life can certainly be improved.

Digital Trends also gave the Surface Pro 4 an excellent review by stating that the Surface Pro 4 is a microcosm of a new era that Microsoft has been trying to spur inside its own walls. "Time and time again, Microsoft missed the chance to leap on a new trend in consumer technology, which now is possible with the Surface Pro 4."

The review also added that, Microsoft has become a leader this time, and is setting the trend. And unlike its new competitors, the tech giant had time to work out the kinks.

Unfortunately, one of those kinks is not the battery life as those with the Intel Core i7 versions of the device reported been able to get only three hours of battery life when the Pro 4 first came out last fall.

The company has hence, addressed the Surface Pro 4 battery life issues with driver updates, though the device still is not one that any user would want to take with them without the charger or a power bank.

For the time been, users can always extend the battery life by reducing the screen brightness or putting the Pro 4 into "Power Saving Mode". The battery life still has not been enough of a big issue to deter customers away from the Surface Pro 4.

Microsoft has created a winning tablet/laptop hybrid, and one hopes the Surface Pro 5, scheduled to be released in early 2017, will be even better.
