The hit MBC drama "W - Two Worlds" is set to close its final chapter with its series finale to air in mid-September. Ahead of the drama's end, cast member Lee Jong Suk has shared some of his future plans and upcoming acting projects.

The model turned actor has given his fans a treat when he recently shared a special online video message through the "V" app, allkpop reported. Apart from talking about the upcoming end of the MBC drama "W - Two Worlds," he also talked about some of the activities he has lined up in the coming weeks.

Lee stated that he is set to meet the director for his new acting project. The actor is set to star in a suspense action film titled "VIP." He stated that he is looking forward to having an intense discussion with the film's director about his role. He also revealed that he plans to start preparations for his new role.

Avid fans of the South Korean celebrity can expect to see some physical changes in the actor's slim figure. It appears that Lee's movie may require him to undergo some form of physical transformation. He revealed that he will need to gain weight for his upcoming acting project. He also mentioned that filming activities for the said movie may start in October.

Lee ended his video message with a holiday greeting for his fans. Koreans are set to celebrate "Chuseok" on Sept. 15. It one of the said Asian country's biggest holidays, which is also an autumn harvest festival. In his video message, the actor extended his well-wishes for fans for the upcoming "Chuseok" holiday, as indicated in the same report. "I hope all of you eat a lot of yummy food during the holidays," he added.

Lee's movie casting for "VIP" was confirmed in mid-August where the actor is set to play the son of a North Korean official named Kwang Il, Soompi reported. The villain is a serial killer who murders people during his travels across the globe. Investigators from Korea's national security agency, as well as Interpol, will be tasked to capture Kwang.

The upcoming movie will also serve as Lee's first villainous role. The actor has starred in several dramas such as "I Hear Your Voice," as well as movies like "Hot Blooded Youth." The expected release date for "VIP" has yet to be announced.
