In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Boone dished on Season 4. The actress teased that the upcoming season will reveal the relationship between Liz and Red, in addition to delving deeper into her secretive past. The next season may also provider answers to the many questions raised about Liz.

"What it's starting to look like is we are really delving into Liz's past and exposing a lot of things that have been withheld throughout the series," Boone said. "So I can't say confidently, but I think so."

"The Blacklist" Season 4 will pick up from where the show left off at the end of Season 3. Liz faked her own death and she was later taken by Alexander Kirk, who claims to be her biological father. While Liz is not yet sure whether or not Kirk is her father, she will soon discover her identity during Season 4.

Fans are expecting many revelations and truths to be revealed in "The Blacklist" Season 4, with the actual relationship between Red and Liz topping the list, according to TV Fanatic. It is also expected that the two will reunite since Red will do whatever it takes to save Liz from his longtime enemy, Kirk.

Meanwhile, there are possibilities that Kirk is not the biological father of Liz. However, it will take much effort, at least for Red, to convince Agnes' mother that Kirk is not really the man who he claims to be.

Further reports suggest that fans are anticipating seeing Liz returning to the FBI in Season 4. This is attributed to the fact that she faked her death and it affected many people within the task force.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 is slated to return on NBC on Sept. 22. Here is footage for more information on the upcoming fourth installment:
