Roy Kim has weighed in on reports of his sister's close resemblance to the Girls Generation group member Taeyeon. The singer expressed his opinion on how his sister has been labelled Taeyeon's look-alike.

The singer and songwriter gave a candid interview during his appearance on the tvN show "Taxi" that aired on Sept. 13, TuesdayWhen Kim was asked to comment on previous reports of how his sister can pass as Taeyeon's look-alike, the musician gave an honest response. He stated that the Girls Generation group member is prettier than his sister.

Kim commented that while other people may think that his sister can serve as Taeyeon's look-alike, he shared that she resembled a South Korean trot singer. The "Bom Bom Bom" crooner commented that his sister looked more like Jang Yoon Jung than the Girls Generation member.

In other news, Kim recently held a series of promotional activities in Malaysia, Korea Herald reported. The singer and songwriter met his Malaysian fans during a showcase held at Kuala Lumpur's Paradigm Mall on Aug. 26. He also appeared on MY FM radio station's "Dare Dare Come 2.0 Go" festival on Aug. 27.

The "Cloudy Day" crooner also recounted some of his songwriting experiences in an interview with New Straits Times. He revealed that he composed his first song at the age of 18. Kim also shared that he can get his inspiration from almost anything. 

The musician even revealed a song that he composed in his hotel room during his stay in Malaysia. Kim stated that if the song will be released, he will proudly share that it was created in the said Asian country.

Apart from his songwriting experiences, Kim also commented on his recent appearances in various South Korean variety programs such as KBS' "Talents for Sale," "Celebrity Bromance" and more. He stated that he initially had no plans to appear in variety shows since he wanted the focus to be on his music. He explained, "Previously, I never thought of doing so because I didn't want people to think of me just as the 'that guy on TV.'"
