Shinsuke Nakamura has been on a roll ever since making his WWE debut at NXT TakeOver: Dallas in April. In a recent interview, Nakamura expressed his desire to face Brock Lesnar once he gets called up to the main roster.

"If I get a chance, I would be up for that. My body would need to be ready because he is tough. Ouch," Nakamura told Channel Guide.

The King of Strong Style must have watched that destruction Lesnar did at SummerSlam against Randy Orton. The Beast busted open Orton the hard way using his elbows and it created a lot of controversies since many thought that it was unplanned.

Nevertheless, Nakamura vs. Lesnar is a dream match for many fans as they two of the most popular wrestlers in history. They are considered as attractions with Nakamura and his charismatic strong style while Lesnar has his aura of invincibility.

It should be noted that these two superstars collided ten years ago in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Lesnar defended his IWGP Heavyweight championship against Nakamura in an intense match. According to The Inquisitr, the Japanese star was close to getting the win but The Beast was just too powerful as he hit the F5 for the victory.

Ever since that match, the two superstars have evolved into two completely different characters. Nakamura introduced the King of Strong Style while Lesnar incorporated his MMA aggression and ruthlessness into his arsenal.

But is it possible for the two superstars to cross paths again in the WWE main roster? As of now, Nakamura is the reigning NXT champion but he is expected to get called up anytime soon. He is more than ready to be an attraction for either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live.

On the other hand, Lesnar is currently on hiatus but he is scheduled to wrestle Orton at a live event in Chicago on September 24. However, it is always subject to change especially that The Viper is still suffering from a concussion.

Also, The Beast is still WWE's top draw and he has been linked with a rematch with Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. He also has a contract until 2018 which means Nakamura has two more years to build his star power to match Lesnar.
