Zack Snyder has just revealed the first look of the Tactical Batsuit from the highly anticipated "Justice League" movie on Wednesday (Sept. 14).

The photo, which the director shared on Twitter, shows Batman (Ben Affleck) standing defiantly alongside what appears to be the Batmobile. The scene seems to be from an action sequence from the upcoming film as smoke and sparks can be seen in the background.

"Homestretch. Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit," Snyder wrote about the suit, which is designed for combat and appears to make much more sense than the armored Mech Batsuit worn by The Dark Knight in his battle against the Man of Steel in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Details about the tactical suit first emerged from the London set of "Justice League" months ago and has been described by costume designer Michael Wilkinson as a suit that Batman uses to "step up his game" against powerful enemies towards the end of the film, according to Cinema Blend.

The Tactical Batsuit bears a striking resemblance to the Nite Owl costume from Snyder's neo-noir superhero film "Watchmen" but Wilkinson pointed out that the inspiration for some of the suit's design elements came from the comic books.

"We loved the way, in the comic books, that Batman's always drawn with these white flashes for eyes," he said. "So we played around with ways of doing that, and realized that they would sort of catch the light, to call to mind that classic age from the comic books."

"Justice League" will unite DC Comics superheroes like Batman, Superman (Henry Cavill), Aquaman (Jason Mamoa), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). The film is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
