Sevilla has so far alternated winning and drawing matches in the first four weeks of Spanish top flight competitions to remain unbeaten under new head coach Jorge Sampaoli. They are currently at fifth place in the league table, tied on points with Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.

In their most recent match last Saturday at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium, Los Rojiblancos settled for a 1-1 draw with nine-man squad Eibar on the road, as per ESPN.

The team failed to capitalize on the two-man advantage when goalkeeper Yoel Rodriguez and team captain Dani Garcia were shown the red card at the 45th and 86th minutes respectively.

Argentine striker Luciano Vietto netted the opening goal of the contest at the 27th minute for the Sevillistas before Yoel was sent off at the stroke of halftime. However, Sampaoli's boys allowed the hosts to level the match at the 64th with a goal from midfielder Pedro Leon.

Sevilla could not score the winning goal despite Garcia's exit with four minutes left before fulltime.

Meanwhile, Real Betis is coming off a 2-2 draw with Granada at the Estadio Benito Villamarín last Friday, USA Today reported.

Granada scored the first two goals of the match at the 13th and 33rd minutes with shots from midfielder Mehdi Carcela-González and forward Alberto Bueno.

However, Los Verdiblancos came back with two goals of their own at the 36th and 61st, courtesy of a brace from striker Alex Alegria. The second one came after Granada defender Ruben Vezo was sent off at the 54th.

Sampaoli is expected to rely once again on 22-year-old Vietto in the attack and is projected to lead the Sevillistas to a close victory over the Béticos.
