HTC recently released their new Desire 10 smartphone which looks like a high-end model but is actually geared towards the mainstream market of Android devices.

Budget smartphones are usually encased in a plastic shell which drives the cost down for the device but the new HTC Desire 10 model can fool the average person into thinking that it is a high-end device. The design of the new Android smartphone from HTC incorporates the sleek and tasteful motif of most high-end smartphones in the market.

Nevertheless, HTC is also offering the new Desire 10 Pro for those who have a little more extra money to burn. Meanwhile, the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is better suited for someone who does not really care about the specs of their smartphone.

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle Specs

The budget smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with just a 720p pixel resolution which equates to a less than desirable pixel density for avid movie watchers. HTC's Desire 10 Lifestyle also has just a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset but covered with 3GB RAM, CNET has learned.

Not to skimp out on the specs, the Lifestyle does have a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front snapper. The 32GB internal storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card for external storage.

HTC Desire 10 Pro Specs

For those who want a higher-end phone from HTC, they could buy the Desire 10 Pro model which boasts the same sized display but with a 1080p resolution. The HTC Desire 10 Pro variant is powered by the MediTek Helio P10 processor and can be configured with up to 4GB of RAM, The Verge reported.

The higher-end model also has a better 20MP rear camera and a whopping 13MP front camera for better selfies compared to other smartphones. Both the HTC Desire 10 Pro and the Desire 10 Lifestyle models have Hi-Res audio certification and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro Release Date

The cheaper Lifestyle model will only cost around $324 and is already available in the United Kingdom. Interested buyers of the Desire 10 Pro variant will have to wait next month for the rollout and official price.
