The 37-year-old singer wrote: "I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I'm sorry Beck."

After a while, he issued an apology to the Hawaiian singer Bruno Mars as well. He said: "I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist."

During the Grammys earlier this month, West almost rushed onto the stage when Beck's Morning Phase won the Album of the Year.

While at the backstage during the awards night, he also said that alternative rock should "respect artistry" and so he gave his prize to Beyonce who was his fellow nominee.

According to Daily Mail, when West was asked about a week ago regarding the criticisms he is facing due to his rash behavior, he said that he deserved it. "I was completely hypocritical," he added.

West said that he was recently dining with Taylor Swift - an artist he also deprecated for winning an award-and the restaurant played "Morning Phase".

He said that maybe the restaurant did it on purpose so he could finally hear it. West admitted that the song was good after he had listened to it, he told Power 105.1 FM-the New York hip-hop radio station.

West said that he would listen to the album thoroughly as he acknowledged it and said that it was "potentially an Album of the Year".

In the duration of West's career, he has won 21 Grammys, which makes him one of the most awarded artists in the industry. Last February 8, he performed alongside with Paul McCartney and Rihanna.
