Google has rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update to Android One, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P and Pixel C.

Motorola has not declared Android 7.0 Nougat update schedule for its devices but the operating system roll out is expected to begin soon.

According to reports, the search giant may provide the firmware source code to Motorola this month or in October. It means it will take just a few weeks before the latest operating system is released.

Reports suggest that Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z and Moto Z Force will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update in October. After that, Motorola devices such as Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto X Force will receive the firmware update.

Moto E (3rd gen), Moto G4 Play, Moto G4 Plus, Moto G4 and Moto G (3rd gen) are some of the other devices that will get the new update.

However, Moto X (2nd Gen) will not get the update as its processor is not compatible with the latest operating system.

Android 7.0 Nougat, Google's new operating system, has features such as VR interface, multi-window, Improved file browser, direct reply notifications, Google Assistant, improved Java 8 language support, Extra power efficiency, bundled notifications, new emoji, Seamless updates, Screen Zoom, Clear All, Data saver, Instant Apps and App switch, Digital Trends reported.

This year's Android flagships will all get the latest update sooner or later; however, there is still some waiting in store. The tech company Samsung said that the Galaxy Note 7 will get Android Nougat in November, and it is apparently testing the new Android release on the device.

The company has not announced anything yet, and people cannot get into any kind of beta program that will allow them run an early version of Android 7.0 Nougat on Galaxy S7 Edge or Galaxy S7.

According to a Geekbench result, someone is using a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that is running a build of Android 7.0. The smartphone version seen on Geekbench has an octa-core chip. Probably, it is an unlocked phone that will make it easier for the company to push updates to.
