Jeremy Lin keeps himself in good shape and a lot of that may depend on the food he takes in. Being from China, many are under the impression that among his favorite dishes are from the Asian cuisine circle.

Surprisingly, it was revealed that the Brooklyn Nets guard was not a fan of popular Asian food items. That includes pho and ramen, better known to many as hot soups mixed with noodles. All that can be viewed on the Twitter post below.

Other than that, Lin bared as well that he wasn’t a big coffee drinker. Instead, he prefers to drink boba milk tea with passion fruit juice or even mango-shaved ice over the hot concoctions.

When it comes to preferred food, Lin reveals he is a sucker for sushi, steak, and seafood. He adds that there are special places in New York (Sushi of Gari) and Los Angeles (Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles). He also adds liking Little Caesar’s and In-N-Out Burger.

While those favorite food items seem a bit off China, Lin does have Chinese food favorites as long as they are whipped up by his mother. That includes specially baked pastries, fried rice and a carrot dish according to this Reddit post.

As far as food preference is concerned, it hardly comes as a surprise to see Lin preferring American food over the popular ones from Asia. Lin grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area so that somehow explains the menu to which he has been used to.

While that could be an interesting point, the fact that pho and ramen have become widely popular and something Asians crave for does seem mysterious, GQ reported. Then again, Lin may be after a certain taste, something that perhaps only his mother can whip

Lin can be viewed as a picky eater but then again someone who is not astray from eating popular ones like pizza, burgers, and steak. And as long as he knows to consume and burn them, all that matters is that Lin stays in shape each time he plays NBA ball.
