Users of Nexus devices have many advantages over other Android devices. Google Nexus devices are the first ones to receive an Android update and do not come with pre-installed bloatware.

The Nexus 5X got Android 7.0  update; however, some users have begun experiencing random reboot issue after installing the latest update. Several users of Nexus 5X who have installed the Android N update have complained online about the bootloop problem.

According to one user, factory resetting the Nexus device or creating a cache partition does not help.

Another user said that removing all apps installed from the Play store also does not help. The user further said that the problem was not experienced with Android 6.0 M update.

Orrin, a Google employee,  said that a  small number of Nexus 5X owners are experiencing the problem that is related to the device's hardware. He further said that they are investigating the issue.

People who are experiencing the problem should contact their place of purchase for repair or warranty options.

According to reports, users who are facing the issue cannot fix it themselves, nor a software release from the company Google should be anticipated to sort the problem.

Going through the repair and warranty process appears to be the only way around the bootloop issue.

Reports claim that consumers who purchased the Nexus 5X device from the Google Store can contact Google for refund, repair or exchange options.

Google said that people who bought their smartphone from Project Fi should call 1-844-Talk-2-Fi for information about repairs, exchanges or refunds.

If they did not bought their phone on the Google Store, they should go to the LG website at www.lg.com/. They may be covered by the company's limited manufacturer's warranty.

Nexus 6P and Nexus 6 users are also facing several performance issues such as abnormal battery drain, lag, problems with Bluetooth, problems with Wi-Fi, issues moving from the Developer Preview, issues with several applications and Google Now.
