"International Iron Man #7" comic book finally solved the mystery of Tony Stark's birth parents, who are both agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., though his father was more than that. Stark's mother Amanda Armstrong has been known as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the comics revealed his father was likewise a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative named Jude, who worked alongside Armstrong.

Armstrong and Jude fell in love when in a mission in Germany, which led to the former getting pregnant. After being almost killed in a mission and with her pregnancy, Amanda told Jude she wanted out of the spy organization. He then revealed to her that he had secured their future and safety, by becoming Hydra's double agent.

A stunned Armstrong stabbed Jude to death. After giving birth, the distraught Armstrong asked Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to find a family to adopt her baby boy. When a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, Howard Stark learned that the baby will be sent to an orphanage in Europe, he took the baby home, where he and his wife Maria raised him as their own.

The birth parents of Anthony "Tony" Stark aka Iron Man are therefore a Hydra agent and a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative. It is not certain if Tony is aware of his father's link to Hydra as the story was told through a flashback.

While this week's comics #7 marks the end of "International Iron Man," Tony's relationship with his birth mother will be explored in the relaunch of the "Invincible Iron Man," which will be on Nov. 9. Marvel writer and artist Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev will launch a new series "Infamous Iron Man," which first issue will land in stores on Oct. 19, IGN reported.

In the movie world, "Iron Man" followers are waiting for the film's fourth installment amidst rumors that it would be canceled and Robert Downey Jr. will not be reprising his role. Recently, Downey tweeted a photo which silenced speculations that he will not be in "Iron Man 4."

In the photo, Downey was with actor Jon Favreau, Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios president), actor Tom Holland, celebrity chef Roy Choi and the Russo brothers, Joseph and Anthony. It was speculated the photo was taken in Atlanta City, where Marvel base operations are.

Meanwhile, Downey is one of the actors gathered by filmmaker Joss Whedon in the Save The Day-released video that encourages people to vote in the November elections. They campaign against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, Huffington Post reported.

While waiting for "Iron Man 4" updates, here is a look back of "Iron Man 3."
