Congratulations are in order for Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo as they are proud parents of a beautiful baby girl.
The Maroon 5 lead singer and the Victoria's Secret Angel welcomed the little bundle of joy on Sept. 21, Wednesday, in Los Angeles, California. The baby, their first child, has been named Dusty Rose Levine, according to People.
Levine, 37, and Prinsloo, 27, started dating four years ago and made their red carpet debut as a couple in October 2012 at the GQ Gentlemen's Ball in New York City. Following a brief split the following year, the couple reconciled before getting engaged in July 2013 and tied the knot in Los Cabos, Mexico in 2014. It was revealed in March that the couple had a baby on the way and the child's gender became known in April.
During her pregnancy, the Namibian model shared a series of photos showing off her growing baby bump on her Instagram account. Her last update was a black-and-white picture of herself and her bare bump captioned with the bomb emoji.
E! News quoted a source as saying that the couple is ecstatic about the latest addition to their family. "They are both speechless on how this moment feels as new parents. Dusty is healthy, sweet and happy baby!" a source told the publication. "Adam was in the delivery room holding Behati's hands. They both cried when she was born. Both families are there now," the source added.
The former "Voice" coach also cancelled a Maroon 5 concert in Hartford, Connecticut on Sept. 19, Monday, as Prinsloo was on the verge of conceiving the little one. "Maroon 5's Hartford show was happening in conjunction with the group's fall 2016 U.S. tour and is being canceled due to the upcoming birth of frontman Adam Levine's baby," read a statement on the band's official website.
