Reports are rife that OnePlus has already commenced working on OnePlus 4, the successor of OnePlus 3. The new device is expected to rival the likes of iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 with enhanced features, design, and price.
While OnePlus has not officially announced anything regarding the fourth candidate in its continuing series of devices, OnePlus 4 specs have already leaked through an unknown source. According to Know Your Mobile, the device is expected to come with so much superiority, with OnePlus giving Apple a run for its money.
The first improved feature will be a whopping 8GB of RAM, according to Android Headlines. This already surpasses what most laptops have, and compared to iPhone 7 or the Galaxy S7, it stands out as a dreadfully outstanding candidate to compare with. Notably, the current OnePlus phone features 6GB of RAM compared to iPhone's and Samsung's 3GB RAM.
Reports also suggest that OnePlus 4 will include improved storage options, extending the current external storage capacity from 64GB to 256GB via a microSD card. A powerful Snapdragon 830 processor, which is still in the making, will then accompany the massive RAM and storage capacities to bring out an exceptional phone.
For the screen, OnePlus 4 will feature an Optic AMOLED display with a 4K resolution although the size is currently a mystery. Other features likely to be incorporated are pre-installed Android Nougat, 3D technology, a 4000 mAH battery, wireless charging, and a Sony-sensor-integrated camera.
OnePlus 4's specs list is not restricted to the above features, and neither is it guaranteed to embrace them. In other words, all the mentioned specs are a result of speculation and OnePlus fans should take them with a grain of salt until the official confirmation is made.
As of now, OnePlus 4 pricing details are unclear although several conclusions can be drawn from the pricing system of OnePlus 3. The handset's price is speculated to range between $400 and $500 with a mid-2017 release date.
After the failure of OnePlus 2 and the success of OnePlus3, mobile analysts hope that the OnePlus will learn from past mistakes to make OnePlus 4 a ground-breaking device. Notwithstanding the company's humble beginnings, OnePlus has managed to attract attention since the launch of OnePlus One, making it the Tech giant it is today.
