The Nintendo NX craze is currently strong among many avid Nintendo fans. While it has been a long wait for the console to arrive, March 2017 is still the official release month.
Reports have surfaced this weekend that Foxconn is currently conducting test manufacturing runs for Nintendo NX. According to DigiTimes, over 10 million units of the console are being prepared for the 2017 launch, and the Sony PS4 Pro is commencing to roll out production lines as well.
The little piece of information does not provide further details on what the Nintendo gaming console will actually look like. Foxconn is tight-lipped about what fans should expect, but it will not want to repeat the same mistakes associated with the Nintendo Wii U.
It is reported that the upcoming Nintendo NX is some kind of console and handheld hybrid that Nintendo will not be taking on Sony and Microsoft directly. However, it gives gamers something new, a strategy that worked well for the Nintendo Wii.
Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot said that the upcoming Nintendo NX console is a great machine and one that takes a new approach to gaming. There have also been rumors that whatever the device is, we will see a comeback for game cartridges.
It is now hard not to imagine about Nintendo's next-generation platform, even though there is a scarcity of concrete indisputable facts. However, the baseline is that Nintendo NX will focus on changing the idea of home console and handheld gaming. The upcoming console will have enough options or flexibility to support games such as "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," "Just dance 2017," and the next main Sonic game, according to Nintendo Life.
Fans cannot get far in comments on the social media posts of Nintendo or YouTube videos without coming across many "where's NX" posts. This is an indication that aficionados are eager to lay their hands on the upcoming console so that they can have a new gaming experience.
Although the March 2017 release is penciled in, avid fans are optimistic that Nintendo might end up announcing something earlier than that to hone the appetite of fans.
