Terrorist attacks, explosions, a brutal beheading and a secret romance that appears to have turned sour are just some of the scenes that viewers witnessed in the "Quantico" Season 2 premiere that aired on Sept. 25, Sunday. Episode 1 titled "Kudove" featured two timelines where one showed the present day events and the other gave fans a look at the challenges that beloved characters faced in the past.

The said episode also revealed Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and Ryan's (Jake McLaughlin) new mission to infiltrate the CIA as the agency's new recruits. Flashback scenes shown in the Season 2 premiere tackled the two characters' training at the CIA's The Farm, while they both struggled to keep their romance a secret. However, a present day scene in episode 1 hinted of Alex's decision to end their relationship.

In the upcoming episode 2 titled "Lipstick," the flashback scenes will continue to show the CIA's training exercises at The Farm, according to Spoilers Guide. The Farm's instructors Owen (Blair Underwood) and Lydia (Tracy Ifeachor) will be teaching the trainees about counter-surveillance activities.

In the present day, Ryan and Raina (Yasmine Al Massri) are left to deal with the aftermath of the terrorists beheading the wife of the U.S. president. One plan that the two characters came up with is to blend with the other hostages to try and stop the terrorists from doing their villainous deeds. However, trust would become a major issue since "not everyone is who they seem to be."

Meanwhile, cast member Chopra shared in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Alex will soon display her tough side in upcoming episodes. She even compared her character to Rambo given Alex's "bada--" moves in Season 2.
