A new twist in one of the episodes of "Grimm" Season 6 is about Frankenstein, according to TV Line.  It is not clear how the storyline will evolve or how the fictional character developed by Victor Frankenstein will be facing Burkhardt in the finale.

Burkhardt had faced several monsters over the years and the finale looks like showing a different angle as the show will be introducing a character from the classic fictional story. When the show returns for its final run it is expected to wrap up all the loose ends in the story of Burkhardt.

"Grimm" Season 6 will see Burkhardt, facing his real destiny as a descendant of "Grimms," a fate that he has been avoiding ever since. The peak of the final season will see Burkhardt, making a choice whether to accept his responsibility of protecting the mankind from the supernaturals or move on with his own life.

In April, NBC gave a hint that it is already coming up with its final season when the usual 22-episode season was made shorter to 13 episodes. In July, the cast opened up that they were not sure about the fate of the show after Season 6.

"Grimm" Season 6 was confirmed after the show ended with the "Grimm" Season 5 finale with a good acclaim both from viewers and critics. Season 5 premiered with 4.043 million viewers and closed at 4.032 million viewers. The final season will also cross the usual air date in favor of the January 2017 release date.

After the show collected devoted viewers, NBC is facing online petitions for "Grimm" Season 7 renewal. The petition says that Grimm fans want to have another season by either NBC or, if not possible, TNT to air the show, according to The Petition Site.

"Grimm" is about a homicide investigator, Burkhardt, who is destined to be the descendant of the "Grimms." He is tasked to save the mankind from supernatural evils. "Grimm" Season 6 returns on Jan. 6, 2017, on NBC.
