The day of reckoning has finally come! We are just few hours away before witnessing anime history, and it is the much talked final showdown between Naruto and Sasuke at the Valley of End.
Every Naruto fans, or even casual anime dudes out there know what's going to hit them this Thursday. Naruto Shippuden will have back-to-back episodes, both devoted for the battle that shaped the Naruto universe that it is now today.
We all know it's going to be really intense and loaded with action, as all the previous showdowns between Naruto and Sasuke. But let's find out what really make the upcoming episodes a cut above the rest.
3 things to watch out for Episode
Sasuke revealing his Revolution plan - Almost all shonen anime series end up with the two lead characters clashing at the tail-end of the story. Naruto Shippuden isn't an exception.
You see, Sasuke has been through a lot of torture, physical and emotional. Here's a guy whose clan massacred by his own brother and forced to grow faster for the sake of vengeance.
Now that he has gained the power to change the world, Sasuke wants to alter shinobi history through a revolution. He seeks a world where shinobi countries don't exist and kyuubis - which he believes are source of conflicts - are nothing but legends. Unfortunately, this idea goes against everything Naruto stands for.
Naruto, Sasuke both attain the apex of their power - Other than Kaguya and Hagoromo, Naruto and Sasuke are top-2 most powerful characters in Narutoverse. After all, they are reincarnations of Ashura and Indra: the sons of the Sage of Six Paths.
And now that Hagoromo bestow them more power, expect Sasuke and Naruto to tear things apart, whether that be slicing mountains in half or leaving a big crater. Actually, the final battle kind of serves them the platform to reach their full potential. Sasuke activates the Ultimate Susanoo by absorbing the chakras of all 9 kyuubis and Naruto with Kurama Buddha mode to match it.
Resolution - I am not going to spoil you here, especially for those who haven't read the manga, but man oh man, the ending couldn't be scripted better. After long bloody battle, Naruto and Sasuke come down to one final conclusion.
