Various cultural groups and ethnicities, such as African characters as well as a mix of Arabian, Indian and Japanese Sims were added to San Myshuno's four districts. Each district or neighborhood boasts of a different vibe and environment that were inspired by various cultures.

The spices and colors of India served as the inspiration for the San Myshuno district called the Spice Market. It has an old neighborhood feel where brownstone apartments, as well as colorful mosaics, line the said district's area. Players can have their Sim characters enjoy various activities in the Spice Market district such as the new Spice Festival, a friendly game of basketball or to graffiti painting.

The Arts Quarter district is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in San Myshuno. San Francisco residents may even recognize some of the build elements used in the said district. It features a top notch art museum where artsy Sims can gather and meet other characters. The district will also serve as the location for a Lantern Festival, as well as a place for foodie Sims to enjoy various food stands in the neighborhood.

The Fashion District and Uptown will serve as San Myshuno's high-end neighborhoods. The Asian cities of Shanghai and Tokyo served as the game developers' inspiration when they designed the two neighborhoods.

Gamers can have their Sim characters enjoy the new karaoke bar called the Planet Sing-Pop at the Fashion District. The Romance Festival and GeekCon are also some of the street events that will be held in the said area.

Meanwhile, the Uptown neighborhood features high-rise buildings, as well as the gym and rooftop lounge. The said area is the perfect spot for penthouse living where players have less building limitations as compared to apartments.

In other news, members of "The Sims" team will host a "City Living" livestream event on Sept. 30, Friday at 1 p.m. PST, according to the fansite Sims VIP. Avid fans can expect to learn more about the upcoming expansion pack during the said event such as new gameplay features and new objects.
