The Miami Heat are expected to end their ties with Chris Bosh before the start of the 2016-17 NBA season and it will officially end the "Big 3" Era in South Beach. However, the latest rumors suggest that the Heat are ready to move on and acquire Kevin Love from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It has not been a great offseason for Pat Riley and the Heat as they failed to sign Kevin Durant. Dwyane Wade left for his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, and Bosh was not medically cleared by the team doctors to return to the Heat.

Riley was able to re-sign Hassan Whiteside and Tyler Richardson but they are currently not viewed by many as a playoff team. But one big trade before the start of the 2016-17 NBA season could change all of that.

According to Justin Gloria of Sportsrageous, Love is on his way to Cleveland in exchange for Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow. But nothing has been confirmed at the moment and these are just purely speculative.

It would be impossible to see Riley help a LeBron James and the Cavs become much stronger. Dragic is currently their best player along with Whiteside while Winslow has the potential to be an All-Star. He enters the upcoming season as a possible replacement for Bosh in the power forward position.

On the other hand, the Cavaliers have made it clear this summer that they will not break the team that won Cleveland's first championship in 52 years. Love has been a constant name on the rumor mill but he appears to be safe from any trades at the moment.

However, it is only a matter time before his imperfect fit to the Cavs show again and he gets dealt at the February deadline. He has been linked with teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and Sacramento Kings.

The Cavs getting Dragic as the potential replacement for J.R. Smith, who is still unsigned, is not a bad idea. Also, getting a player like Winslow, who can play multiple positions, would be a steal for the Cavaliers.

Nevertheless, the proposed deal of Love for Dragic and Winslow work according to the ESPN Trade Machine. But these are just rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. Check out the video below for the Heat's Top 10 Plays last season.
