The final expansion Salvation of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will finally be coming to PC and Xbox One. PC players will have to purchase the Season Pass for DLC map packs.
According to CharlieIntel, Salvation will finally be coming to the other platforms on Oct. 6. The DLC arrived in September on the PlayStation 4.
This new expansion will include four new multiplayer maps, which include Citadel and Micro. The first map is set in an ancient castle, which is now broken and abandoned. Players will be forced to do close-quarter engagements on tight corners.
The second map is set on a picnic table, where players are smaller. The table will have food, refreshments, and any other food that anybody brings to a picnic.
Outlaw will be a western-style reimagining of the Standoff map from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." This will be a medium-sized, which is complete with classic engagements, flanking routes, and strategic positions.
The fourth map is called the Rupture. It is the reimagining of "Call of Duty: World at War's" Outskirts arena, but now it has a high-tech facility instead.
Aside from the regular maps, Salvation will also add a new Zombies chapter titled Revelations. This will be the finale of the Origins Zombies saga that started eight years ago. Players will be able to choose the main characters Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai.
In this new Zombies chapter, the main characters will now know the real identity of Doctor Monty. This last episode will act as the final showdown against an ancient evil. It will be the ultimate battle between the living and the undead.
Writer Dalton Cooper wrote on Game Rant that those who were not impressed by the main game experience, they will find litter reason to return for this new expansion. He said that the content in this one is almost the same. For the enthusiasts, they might like to play this new content.
The Salvation DLC Pack 4 will be included with the Season Pass or they can be bought separately. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will not be able to get this content.
For the PC players, the map packs are only available through the purchase of the Season Pass. They will not be able to purchase the DLC packs individually.
