"Grey's Anatomy" season 13, episode 3 recently dropped a sneak peek for "I Ain't No Miracle Worker."
In the clip, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Nathan (Martin Henderson) could be seen flirting with each other while at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Nathan approached Meredith to ask whether or not Maggie (Kelly McCreary) is doing well. In the previous episode, Maggie asked Nathan out on a date, but he refused. Meredith said that Maggie is at home, but she's still alive and kicking.
Meredith and Nathan's conversation progressed to the two talking about their hookups. The latter encouraged the former to come clean about them sleeping together. However, Meredith discouraged the idea. When she commanded Nathan to go back to work, the male character said that she's not the boss of him. But Meredith reminded him that she owns a huge chunk of the share at the hospital, and this makes her Nathan's boss.
Meanwhile, the direction of Meredith and Nathan's storyline seems quite confusing because the co-stars previously said that their character won't end up together. While speaking with US Weekly, Pompeo said that Meredith and Nathan will simply have some fun in the upcoming episodes.
"Now we're going to see Meredith have flings with safe people who she knows she can't fall in love with, and know she can't really be with, a.k.a. Riggs. Riggs is super safe because everybody hates him," she said.
In other news, "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, episode 3 will see the return of Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). In another sneak peek, Arizona could be seen reprimanding Alex (Justin Chambers) for what he did to Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti). During their confrontation, Arizona couldn't help but question Alex's decisions. However, the latter is not very pleased with the lecture since it's something that he already heard from Meredith, Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and the rest of the staff at the hospital.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13, episode 3 will air on ABC on Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET.
