To recall, Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, was killed by his own son Kylo Ren. He was then thrown into the pit which exploded soon afterwards. While it may seem that his chances for survival is close to impossible, some fans are still hoping that he is still alive because of the vague closure for his character, according to Forbes.

Crazy theories are rising as to whether the loyalty of Kylo Ren has changed and that the death of Han Solo was actually faked in order to show loyalty to the darkside. Some say that Kylo Ren is actually a "double agent, infiltrating and gaining the trust of the First Order."

In an article from iTechPost, the possibilty of Han Solo surviving the fall is not at all that much of a stretch as to Luke Skywalker also did the same back in "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back." Another reason why the rumor sparked is when fans noticed that Ford's name was still part of the IMdb cast for Episode 8.

However, this does not mean that Han will be back alive entirely. It could be in a way of a dream, a flashback, or even a ghost.

Another spoiler news, "Star Wars Episode 8" could bring back another renowned character from the franchise, Yoda. Seeing as Luke Skywalker is going to have a major role in the next sequel, the chances of seeing his mentor is a considered possibility.

What do you think of the theories circling around the internet? Is Han Solo really dead or is he alive and making an appearance in the next sequel?
