Brock Lesnar is the WWE top draw this year despite being a part-time superstar. He is set to have a match at WrestleMania 33 but the question is who will be his opponent. The latest rumors have revealed that Lesnar will face either Bill Goldberg or Shane McMahon.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan for Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 is a matchup with Shane-O-Mac. On the other hand, the rematch with Goldberg is rumored to be happening at Survivor Series in November.

"WWE already has plans for Brock Lesnar that they're not changing. Whatever they are and I guess Shane McMahon probably is if you watch the TV and everything. Everybody's going like Lesnar vs. Goldberg should be at WrestleMania, and I think with Vince, he thinks Shane vs. Lesnar should be at WrestleMania," Meltzer said.

It should be noted that these are just purely speculative at this point and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the possibility of these matches happening is high since Goldberg vs. Lesnar II needs to happen and The Beast vs. Shane-O-Mac is a fresh matchup.

The casual fans still know who Goldberg is and him going after Lesnar is still a must-see TV. A rematch between the two freak athletes will attract audiences despite the age and health of Goldberg. He recently had double knee surgery but he looks like he is getting cleared before Survivor Series.

The WWE and Vince McMahon is looking to take advantage of the release of WWE 2K17 which heavily features Lesnar and Goldberg. Also, the company has been taking a lot of hit on the ratings with the Presidential Debate and NFL Season taking over their audience.

On the other hand, the WWE has already planted the seeds on a Shane vs. Lesnar feud. According to The Inquisitr, the winner will be obvious but it is a fresh match. The fans will get behind Shane on this feud with Lesnar and they can expect another "Leap of Faith" at WrestleMania 33.

The possible story of Lesnar vs. Shane will be compelling but not many believe that it would be a great match to put at the biggest stage of them all. Nevertheless, the WWE still has six months to decide on the match and The Rock is a better alternative.
