On its Oct. 8 episode, award-winning comedy show "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) made a hilarious sketch of the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things".

With the help of their guest and host Lin-Manuel Miranda, viewers were entertained with the show's version of the upcoming season and even answered the question, "Where are Lucas' parents?"

A report by People revealed the spoof started with the "The Duffer Brothers", producers and writers of the "Stranger Things", giving out teasers for the second season. This included fans' unanswered question, "Where is the black kids' family?" in reference to "Lucas' lack of parental guidance on the show".

SNL, of course, paved a way to answer this mystery through Leslie Jones and Kenan Thompson who acted out as Lucas' parents.

The skit showed Lucas (Sasheer Zamata) telling his friends Mike (Kyle Mooney) and Dustin (Miranda) that "he's not afraid of anything" until he heard his mom yelling for him.

Other SNL members like Kate McKinnon also joined the fun. She transformed as Eleven with the buzz haircut/wig, dress and a bloodied nose which appeared when she used her psychokinetic abilities against Mr. Sinclair, Lucas' dad.

Besides spot-on performances of their respective characters, the skit also raised some important issues.

According to Huffington Post, the skit provided "some commentary on the #BlackLivesMatter movement" and brought up issues on police brutality and racism through humor.

When Lucas' parents were not being supportive of them looking for their missing friend, Will, the reminded him that he should not be "hanging out with these white kids".

On the other hand, while explaining to his parents about the horrors of the "Upside Down", Jones said to her on-screen son, "Baby, people who look like us already live in the Upside Down," Jones said to her on-screen son.

Thompson's character then added, "Let me put it to you this way, Lucas. You don't have to go looking for scary stuff. It is going to find you."

Lastly, when Sheriff Hopper appeared, his parents' immediately put their hands in the air, which Huffington Post explained was referring to the "hands up, don't shoot" protest symbol after the shooting of Michael Brown.
