Between performing on "Saturday Night Live", staging a star-studded fashion show, premiering his new album "The Life Of Pablo" live in Madison Square Garden and endlessly ranting on Twitter, rapper Kanye West seems to be dealing with great stress.

It was reported widely that the rapper had an emotional breakdown while being backstage performing "Saturday Night Live." Recently, an audio clip has surfaced, in which, the 38-year-old can be heard repeatedly yelling and throwing abuses at "SNL" production staff.

West was apparently furious over the fact that "SNL" staff members tore up his stage because it was reflecting the stage lights and causing problems for the cameras. At one point of time, the rapper even threatened to call off his performance altogether and walk away.

"Don't f-k with me," said the rapper before branding Taylor Swift a "fake ass." His song, "Famous," from his recently released album reportedly contains lyrics claiming he made the "Shake It Off" singer famous.

The rapper went on to rant that he is "50 percent more influential" than the legendary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, Pablo Picasso, Paul the Apostle and even the notorious drug runner Pablo Escobar. Scroll down for the audio clip.

Later, West was calmed down by "SNL" boss Lorne Michaels, who eventually succeeded in keeping the rapper from bolting from the show. While some fans were upset at the rapper's outburst, others believe that the rapper's frustration was justified as he had spent an entire day rehearsing and dramatic changes were made reportedly just 30 minutes before his performance.

The rapper also reportedly called the staff "white m_____s", but the same cannot be heard in the leaked tape. Despite the rant, West did perform on the show last Saturday after everything was fixed on stage.

Meanwhile, a West's rep has come forward to claim that the leaked tape is edited and is blown out of proportion. "He found out his stage design was changed and taken apart under the direction of the show's lighting director without anyone's approval," Consequence Of Sound quoted the rapper's rep as saying.

Meanwhile, West has reportedly suffered a huge financial hit due to the disastrous roll-out of his new album "The Life of Pablo" as it has been pirated and downloaded so many times since its release that the rapper has lost $10million in sales, Daily Mail reported.
