Netflix's "Narcos" has just recently been released and the story of Pablo Escobar has finally come to an end.

Fans knew that Escobar was going to be killed because of the teaser that was released days before the airing of the second season. What they didn't expect is that "Narcos" was actually renewed for a third and a fourth season. The show is already moving on to a new but a continued storyline. The next story will now shift the focus to the Cali Cartel and their operations on the drug trafficking to the U.S.

Netflix is now currently in the works and announced that filming has already begun, releasing a photo of Pedro Pascal's DEA agent character, Javier Pena, possibly announcing the news of the death of Escobar or giving information about the new enemies of the DEA.

'The blow must go on. Pablo might be dead but the war is not over. Season 3 of #Narcos has begun filming,' they tweeted.

Real life Javier Pena gave an explanation to THR what the difference of the Medellin and the Cali cartel is, "The Medellin Cartel was the Wild Wild West and Cali was businesslike. They were accountants, professional money-launderers. They were more sophisticated and very different cartels. Cali moved a lot of dope and sent more to the U.S."

The producers Jose Padilha and Eric Newman are going to continue to stay with the series, Screen Rush reported.

They stated in an article that "We'll stop when the drug trade stops," Padilha told one publication, Newman adding: "We'll stop when you stop. That's our pact with America."

Boyd Holbrook's return for the series in unclear as both real life agents Steve Murphy and Javier Pena didn't stay that long around the cases of the Columbian drug trade after the death of Escobar. Also, Holbrook is in talks in starring in a reboot of Fox's "Predator". Originally, Benicio Del Toro was the choice for the show.

"Narcos" Season 3 is still a long way from airing and info about the show is still coming forth soon.
