Liverpool is currently thriving under head coach Jürgen Klopp's first full season with the club and it showed on the pitch with five wins in their first seven games.

The Reds are actually on a four-game winning streak and will look to extend it to six games against the Red Devils in their home field.

Liverpool nipped reeling team Swansea City, 2-1, on the road at the Liberty Stadium on Oct. 1 before the international break, as per SkySports.

The Swans drew first blood with a ninth-minute strike from Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer from a header pass by Spanish forward Borja Baston. It gave the hosts a one-point lead at the half.

Klopp's men then fought back in the second half as resident center-forward Roberto Firmino found the equalizer at the 54th. Firmino headed the goal coming from a pass by team captain Jordan Henderson following a blocked Philippe Coutinho spot kick.

The Reds then took the lead in the 84th via a successful penalty kick by vice-captain James Milner.

Meanwhile, Manchester United had suddenly struggled after opening the season on a three-game winning streak.

United is now winless in three of their last four assignments after they were held by bottom three squad Stoke City to a 1-1 draw right at their home field of Old Trafford on Oct. 2, Metro reported.

The Red Devils had so many chances in the first half, but the Potters were able to stand their ground on defense to keep the game scoreless.

Substitute winger Anthony Martial finally broke the deadlock in the 69th, but a careless play on defense allowed Joe Allen to smash the equalizer in the 82nd to force a draw and a share of a point in the overall standings.

Head coach Jose Mourinho's squad is projected to redeem themselves in this match against fellow powerhouse Liverpool with a close road win.
