Former WWE commentator and Hall of Famer Jim Ross has already unveiled his forecast for the rumored battle of the titans rematch between Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg at Survivor Series 2016.

In his latest blog entry on J.R's Place, Ross predicts how the rematch will play-out, the reception of the Toronto crowd to Goldberg, and of course the winner of the match.

Ross stated on Monday's blog entry on J.R Place:

"My guess is that this match will be much better than many naysayers perceive and likely won't resemble the MSG match at WM20 that Steve Austin refereed. Will it be a 5 star classic? Only time will tell but generally speaking 'special attraction' bouts usually aren't show stealers but this presentation will likely out perform expectations.

I expect that Goldberg wil be jeered in Toronto as Lesnar is now residing in the Saskatoon area plus Goldberg is unfortunately known as the man who ended Bret Hart's in ring wrestling career. I still think that this will be a 'one off' for @Goldberg and I still see Lesnar getting his hand raised."

Ross has a gut feeling the Survivor Series rematch between two ring gladiators will still be highly-physical but much better match than the last time they met in the squared circle. Still, Ross believes Goldberg will no longer compete in the ring after that, making it a one-and-done affair for the former WCW champ.

12 years ago, Lesnar and Goldberg locked horns in one of the featured events at Wrestlemania 32. The crowd rained boos during the match, as both wrestlers couldn't produce a performance that would suffice the huge hype surrounding it.

As a matter of fact, Stone Cold Steve Austin, who served as the special referee in the match, stole the thunder from the two dominant superstars after nailing each participant with a stone cold stunner.

Goldberg is slated to appear on RAW for the first time in 12 years to unveil his answer to the open challenge presented by Paul Heyman and his client Brock Lesnar last week. The former WCW Champion is scheduled to appear in two more WWE RAW tapings (Oct. 31 and Nov. 14) before Survivor Series.
