Good news awaits all "Game of Thrones" fans. Ben Crompton, who portrays the role of Eddison Tollett, teased that they have some big surprises lined up when the hit fantasy TV series resumes Season 7 in mid-2017.
The 42-year-old English actor was one of the many celebrities who attended this year's Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards. The said event was held at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, England on Oct. 13.
"We are back on season 7 and we have a lot of fun," Sunderland Echo quoted Crompton as saying. "I am like a lot of the fans, I am always keen to find out what will happen next. It is exciting when the scripts come through."
Although the "Man Stroke Woman" star cannot reveal that much, he promised fans that there is a lot of big surprises ahead in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 particularly now that the show is gearing towards the end. He goes ahead to say that everyone is assuming certain things will happen "but I won't say if that is the case."
Many believed "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will bring fans and viewers back to the Castle Black considering that Crompton's character has been left in charge there. Edd was last seen in the third episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 where Jon Snow (Kit Harington) named him the 999th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
Meanwhile, filming for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 kicked off in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Aug. 31 and will continue through February 2017. The cast and staff members will also travel to Spain later this month to shoot several pivotal scenes in various locations that include the Roman Ruins of Italica in Santiponce, the Itzurun Beach in Zumaia, the city of Caceres and the Las Atarazanas (Royal Dockyards) in Seville, Watchers on the Wall has learned.
