It seems that Angelina Jolie is slowly but steadily moving on and is looking for a new house for her and the kids. Since filing for divorce from Brad Pitt in September, the actress was spotted by an eyewitness on Oct. 16, Sunday, for the first time in public in Malibu, California, touring a new rental property.

The 41-year-old actress was reportedly accompanied by her elder brother, James Haven, as well as five of her kids, Pax Pitt, 12, Zahara Pitt, 11, Shiloh Pitt, 10, and twins Knox Pitt and Vivienne Pitt, 8. Maddox Pitt, 15, was not present at the family outing.

The actress was said to be relaxed and happy as she was strolling around the property in a long, tan robe. The family reportedly spent some time at the beach before an entourage of bodyguards and the kids's nannies accompanied them at the house for more than an hour.

"The kids were running around and they seemed happy and to be doing well," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "Zahara ran out to the beach by the water. The kids were playing on the beach."

Brad, meanwhile, has been keeping a low profile since the actress filed for divorce on Sept. 19. The estranged couple is said to have separated on Sept. 15 after an altercation on a plane returning from France. Both Jolie and Pitt have volunteered to participate in individual counselling, while the actor also agreed to undergo drug and alcohol testing.

The actor reunited with some of his children recently when he met them on Oct. 8 under the supervision of a therapist. The meeting happened as per the couple's temporary custody agreement, recommended by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, People reported.

The DCFS is still investigating Brad over the alleged altercation he had with his oldest son. The authorities are still looking for the facts and will soon evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued or not.

On the big screen, Brad and Jolie were last seen together in the family drama "By The Sea." Watch the trailer below:
