The latest details and spoilers "The Defenders" Netflix series will feature Sigourney Weaver's possible character and the team appearing in "Avengers: Infinity War".

Marvel announced that four Netflix series that heroes of "Daredevil", "Jessica Jones", "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" will unite in the "The Defenders" mini series and it was during New York Comic con that "Alien" star Sigourney Weaver will be added to the cast as the show's main villain.

While the details of Weaver's character is still unknown, fans made several choices as to which Marvel villain could be appearing in "The Defenders" series from street level criminals such as Ma Gnucci, Headhunter, Typhoid Marry, Sunset Bain, Alexander Bont and Silvermane, to several terrorist and mystical threats such as The Enchantress, Madame Hydra, Morgan Le Fay, Monica Rappacinni, Ruby Thursday the Beast of the Hand and Mephisto, Screenrant reported.

There have been numerous rumors and theories that The Hand could return and face the Defenders in the Netflix series. The team will consist of the blind vigilante Matt Murdocl/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Alias private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), bullet prood hero Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and kung fu master Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones).

Netflix recently launched the "Luke Cage" series, with "Iron Fist" being next to launch sometime in 2017 and right afterwards "The Defenders" crossover series.

In other news, Marvel president Kevin Feige teased the possibility that the Defenders will appear in "Avengers: Infinity War" as he told IGN what made the two upcoming "Avengers" sequels so different as explained that "Infinity War" is based on the "Infinity Gauntlet" while the second film will be different.

Feige added the one of the things which made "Infinity Gauntlet" good is that everybody in the Marvel Universe is tryig to go up against Thanos whether they were god-like powers or not, because that is what Avengers do.

When asked if "everyone" could mean the inclusion of the Netflix heroes and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." series, Feige responded by saying "spoilers", indicating the possibility.

Film directors the Russo Brothers stated in an interview regarding the Marvel Netflix heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War" as Anthony Russo stated that they are considering everyone in the film and they wanted to surprise the audiences the best way they can.

"The Defenders" will premier sometime in 2017 on Netflix.
