Not only fans felt bad when Beharie's character was killed off. Ahead of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, Mison broke his silence and dished how he misses his former partner Beharie.

"We'd both worked terribly hard to find this relationship," Mison told TVLine in an exclusive one-on-one interview before the show's New York Comic Con panel early in October. "We knew we had each other's backs. When there were tough days, or when there were scripts that were very difficult to read - let alone perform - we'd help each other through it."

Mison added that everyone knows how special their working relationship is, and he was in awe after knowing that they are continuing the show with "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. He recalled his last scene with Beharie in the porch, which, according to the actor signifies their terrific bond as partners.

Moving on with his new partner Janina Gavankar, Mison disclosed that Ichabod (Mison) and Diana Malhotra (Gavankar) initially have an antagonistic relationship, but found a way that would strengthen their bond. After Diana (Gavankar) lost his partner and the same with Ichabod (Mison), its their emptiness that will build their connection.

As "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 returns, it was revealed that the Fox drama is making a lot of transformations to welcome a new installment without Beharie. The cast will be relocating in Washington D.C. and Malcom Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies) will be the season's new villain. He is described as "part Steve Jobs, part Lex Luthor and has a dash of Hannibal Lecter."

In the official Twitter account of "Sleepy Hollow," a clip was shared, where Ichabod (Mison) was seen fighting with his enemies. When he moved to Washington D.C. for his new mission, Jenny Mills (Lyndie Greenwood) will be with him to face all his adversaries.

Early "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 spoilers revealed that Ichabod's son with Katrina (Katia Winter) Henry Parrish (John Noble) will make a return. It could be remembered that Parrish appeared in Season 1 and 2 as the sin eater and the Horseman of War.

Before Season 4 was confirmed, Fox Entertainment President David Madden admitted that it will be hard to continue the show without Beharie. They were having second thoughts on giving a green light for the next season. However, the producers were the one who pushed that "Sleepy Hollow" needs a continuation even Beharie's demise, according to TV Guide.
