"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" ended up with impressive ratings of 25.3 percent on Oct. 18, Tuesday. The 18-episode historical drama starred Park Bo-Gum and Kim Yoo-Jung.

After its successful run, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" has once again come under fire for failing to be more discreet. On Oct. 19, Wednesday, the Korean Communication Standards Commission (KCSC) decided to take administrative action against the said historical drama.

"The series aired some scenes of Kim, a 16-year-old actress, kissing 23-year-old Park Bo-gum," a representative from KCSC said in a statement obtained by The Kpop Herald. "Such scenes might have a detrimental effect on adolescent viewers."

KCSC stressed that they are only worried about the indecent scenes featuring young stars. They added that the broadcasters should take a more cautious stance on having child actors playing the role of a young adult.

Reports claimed that a subsidiary of KCSC saw it as a violation of Article 45, as KBS had allowed a minor to appear in such indecent scenes. Nonetheless, the broadcaster will not be subjected to any fines or punishment.

In September, many viewers "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" have sent in complaints to the KCSC with respect to Kim's revealing scene. The scene in question showed Hong Ra-On (Kim) wrapping her chest with gauzes in order to disguise herself as a boy.

Though the KCSC understand that the said scene is necessary for the show's plot development, it seemed that it went on-air longer than necessary.

On a lighter note, the main cast of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" finally fulfilled Park's rating promise. Just recently, Park, Kim, Kwak Dong Yeon and B1A4's Jinyoung held a fan signing event while wearing a Korean traditional clothing called Hanbok, Soompi reported.

The meet-and-greet event, which took place at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, northern Seoul, was attended by more than 5,000 local and international fans. At the time, Park took to Twitter to share an adorable photo along with a caption: "I will cherish the happy time we spent together at Gyeongbokgung. Thank you so much to those who spent their precious time to come today!"
