New details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature two new game trailers and the possibility of "Resident Evil 2" remake appearing at PSX 2016.

Capcom showcased two new game trailers for "Resident Evil 7", which feature the game's new save room and the use of a knife. The first trailer sees the player entering a laundry room to which they will see a cassette tape recorder acting as a manual save system.

Game producer Masachika Kawata explained that the new save system changes depend on the difficulty settings of "Resident Evil 7", but there will be auto-saves throughout the gameplay. Kawata added that if the gamers choose a harder difficulty, the saving system will not be "nice" to them.

The second trailer will feature gamers using a knife and its many uses. While, long time "Resident Evil" fans view the knife as a weapon of choice in close combat, the sequel will provide other uses for it, for intance opening boxes that are taped just like a fuse box, Gamespot reported.

Capcom previoulsy showcased two "Resident Evil 7" trailers which featured the a mysterious caller and the shotgun weapon. It is heavily theorized that one of the callers is a returning character from the series and Ada Wong and BSAA agent Sheva Alomar are being hinted in the game.

In other news, several rumors are making rounds that Capcom will likely showcase "Resident Evil 2" remake this year.

The Japanese game producer teased that "Resident Evil 2" remake will likely appear in this year's PlayStation Experience event on December. Kawata stated in an interview that there is a separate producer who is working on the remake and hopes that they will reveal more information about the game very soon.

Kawata added that "Resident Evil 2" remake will have an online like gameplay and other features that will be unique from the original game, Mobile&Apps reported.

It is speculated that "Resident Evil 7" will include a demo of "Resident Evil 2" remake as someone from NeoGaf claimed that the strip numbers on the left hand side of the "Beginning Hour" demo featured clues about the remake.

The second string of numbers corresponds to the product ID of the first "Resident Evil" in the PlayStation console specifically the "Director’s cut" which that included a demo "Resident Evil 2". Gamers speculated that Capcom will put a demo of "RE2" remake in "Resident Evil 7" as soon as the game is finished and will likely be added in a bundle pack.

"Resident Evil 7" will launch on Jan. 14, 2017 for the PS4, PS VR, Xbox One and PC platforms.
